About 140 people participated in the 2021 Annual Town Hall meeting organized by the Asutifi North District Assembly. The District Assembly convened the meeting to allow people to share their concerns regarding the ANAM WASH master plan implementation and seek clarification on issues they identified in their communities. Key personalities at the meeting include Chief Executive Hon. Anthony Mensah, traditional leaders from Kenyasi No. 1, Kenyasi No.2, Wamahinso, and Ntotroso.
In his opening remarks, Hon. Anthony Mensah encouraged everyone to freely approach his office in the spirit of collaboration to achieve the collective development goals of the District Assembly.
Regarding some of the concerns raised at the Town Hall meeting that require the district’s intervention, the Planning Officer indicated that there would be further stakeholder consultations to determine the best course of action. The Chiefs and Assembly members at the meeting pledged to contribute to the District's goal of investing in sustainable WASH systems.
